In most cases yes — seasonal discounts like Savor the Sunshine stack with the standard group benefits (6th guest free, upgrades, welcome reception). However, some promotional terms prohibit combining with other offers. Our specialists confirm combinability during contract negotiations before you commit.
How often do promotions change?
Named promotions like Savor the Sunshine typically run for 3–6 month booking windows and then either renew under a new name or expire. The always-on group benefits (6th guest free, room upgrades) are permanent program features. We update this page when named promotions change — contact us for the most current booking window and whether any new offers have launched.
Do I need a minimum number of rooms to qualify?
Most group wedding benefits require a minimum room commitment — typically 5–10 rooms for 3+ nights depending on the brand and promotion. The Free Wedding Package at Dreams and Secrets requires either 5 rooms for 3 nights or 7 nights in a qualifying room. RIU's Free Collection has zero room minimum at Riu Palace Costa Mujeres and Riu Bambu. Confirm your specific group's requirements with our specialists.
Are blackout dates a concern?
Seasonal promotions like Savor the Sunshine exclude major holidays (Christmas, New Year's, spring break peak weeks). Standard group wedding benefits typically don't have blackout dates but may require weekend minimums at some properties (e.g. Dreams Natura requires 80 guests for Fri/Sat/Sun weddings). Confirm blackout periods with our specialists when selecting your date.
