How Hard Rock Wedding Packages Work
All five Hard Rock all-inclusive properties in Mexico and the Dominican Republic run the same wedding package structure, called the "Inspirations" collection. Every tier covers a ceremony only, for up to 32 guests, and includes a non-denominational minister, an onsite wedding coordinator, an audio system, a sparkling wine toast, and a honeymoon package for the couple.
What changes between tiers is the décor theme, the floral and structural elements, the entertainment touches (soloist, fireworks), and the cake tier. What stays constant is the venue, catering, and reception — none of those are included in any package price. Receptions, cocktail hours, DJs, photographers, videographers, and hair & makeup are all priced as separate enhancements on top of whichever package you choose.

Because every Inspirations package is ceremony-only, most couples end up budgeting for several enhancements on top of the package price. The most common additions:

Can I mix elements from different packages?

What's the difference between a symbolic and a legal ceremony?
All five Inspirations packages cover the ceremony experience itself — legal paperwork and requirements are handled separately and vary by country. Mexico properties (Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, Cancun, Vallarta) allow legal same-sex marriage with no government surcharge; Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) requires an $800 government surcharge for legal ceremonies and offers same-sex ceremonies on a symbolic basis only. How far in advance should we book our package?
Popular dates and the Complimentary package's room-block minimums fill up 9–12 months ahead for peak season (December–April). VFL recommends locking in your property and date as early as possible, then finalizing your package selection 6–8 months out.

No — all five Inspirations packages are ceremony-only, covering up to 32 guests. Reception venues, catering, and cocktail hours are quoted separately based on your guest count and menu selections.
